you are the beautiful blur
that i still see
when i close my eyes
that roams around my mind
sometimes i long to hold you close
to bring you back into my vision
but love has never been clear
to me
it is fuzzy and flawed
and i want no part of it
anymore
you are the bitter blur
that i no longer seek
to sharpen
